The following privacy notice for Blue Screen Studios ("We", "Us", or "Our") describes how and why we might collect, store, use, or share ("Process") your information when you use our services ("Services").

HOW WE HANDLE THIRD PARTY LOGIN DATA

Our services offer you the ability to register and login using third party services' (like Discord, Microsoft, Steam, or Twitch logins), OAuth2 authentication systems. When you choose to do this, we will receive certain information about you given to us by that provider. The information we receive will depend on the OAuth2 provider concerned, but will often include your username, email address, friends list, and profile picture, as well as any other information you decide to make publicly available with said provider.

We will utilize the information we receive from OAuth2 providers only for the purposes described in this privacy notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on relevant services. Please note that we do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your third-party OAuth2 provider. We strongly recommend you also review their privacy notice to understand how they collect, use, and share your personal information, and how you can set your privacy preferences with them through their sites and applications.

HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time which you have an account with us.

When we have no ongoing business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or if this is not possible (for example, because your information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any other processing until deletion is possible.

BROWSER CONTROLS AND DO NOT TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference to not have data about your activities collected. At this stage no standard for recognizing these requests and implementing modified practices has been finalized. As such we currently choose not to respond to DNT browser signals or any other automated mechanism that communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for DNT signals is adopted that we are required to follow in the future, we will inform you about our response in a future privacy notice.

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of processing your information before withdrawal nor when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

RIGHTS AFFORDED TO YOU UNDER "SHINE THE LIGHT" LAW (CALIFORNIA)

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately proceeding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please send your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.

If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with our services, you have the right to request the removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the services. To request removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided below and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure your data is not publicly displayed on our services, but be aware that the data may not be comprehensibly removed from all of our systems internally (ex: backups, etc).

Each service provider is a for-profit entity that processes information on our behalf. Blue Screen Studios has not disclosed or sold any personal information to third-parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months. Blue Screen Studios will not sell personal information in the future belonging to visitors, users, and customers.
